Yes. However, excessive use of this early exit option reduces the likelihood of managers agreeing to your future shareminder requests. This may affect your ability to access future conviction investment opportunities.

In addition, some fund managers offer performance fee credits which is a way of compensating you for shareminder losses by way of offering future conviction ideas. Early exit before the agreed investment timeframe stops you from earning these fee credits.

The minimum on our platform is A$5,000 per manager. However, each manager on our platform may set a limit higher for their particular services.

The maximum that can be invested with one manager is 25% of the overall value of your portfolio.
Investors wishing to bypass these maximums may apply for a Wholesale Investor Declaration.

You are free do so, however your shareminder manager is not responsible for the performance of any positions outside of their authorized control.
In particular, losses suffered from copying shareminder trades will not be eligible for performance fee credits offered by certain shareminder managers.

Despite your manager's best judgment and research, sometimes even conviction investments will result in negative performance.

A freak pandemic could hurt the business. There could be accounting fraud. The business could be the victim of a catastrophic cyber attack or bushfire. Your manager could simply have made an error on the investment case.

Please note that all profits, losses, outperformance & underperformance from your shareminder transactions with each manager are recorded in your shareminder account.

Some managers offer a performance fee credit which involves offering to manage additional shareminder positions from you for zero performance fee, up to the point where the dollar amount of your underperformance with on shareminder has been recouped.

You will incur the same trading costs as charged on your existing platform.
Please note that since we are dealing with conviction positions from professional investors, the shares within your shareminder portion are likely to be traded infrequently.
